1. About the Website

This Website provides information relating to Kamathipuracha Maharaja, Shri Sainath Mitra Mandal, Ganeshotsav celebrations, religious and community activities, historical archives, galleries, live darshan, donations, sponsorships and volunteering opportunities.

The Website is intended for general informational, devotional and community-engagement purposes.

2. Website Use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects the religious, cultural and community values represented by the Mandal.

You must not:

  • Attempt to damage, disable or interfere with the Website.
  • Gain unauthorised access to the Website, server or associated systems.
  • Upload or transmit malware, harmful code or misleading information.
  • Copy, alter or misuse Website content for unauthorised commercial purposes.
  • Use the Mandal’s name, logo, photographs or identity to collect unauthorised donations.
  • Impersonate the Mandal, its committee members, volunteers, sponsors or representatives.
  • Post or communicate defamatory, hateful, offensive or disrespectful material.

3. Information Accuracy

The Mandal makes reasonable efforts to keep the information on the Website accurate and updated. However, festival dates, darshan timings, event schedules, programmes, volunteer duties, sponsorship benefits and other information may change without prior notice.

Final announcements made by the authorised committee will take precedence over information previously displayed on the Website.

Historical information, community stories, photographs and archive descriptions may be based on records, contributions and recollections available to the Mandal.

4. Donations

The Website may display options for making donations through UPI, QR code, bank transfer or other approved payment methods.

By making a donation, you confirm that:

  • The payment is voluntary.
  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method.
  • The information provided by you is accurate.
  • The funds are from lawful sources.

Donations may be used for Ganeshotsav arrangements, religious activities, community-service initiatives, heritage preservation, administration and other activities approved by the Mandal.

Unless required by law or approved by the Mandal in exceptional circumstances, donations are generally non-refundable. In case of a duplicate payment, incorrect amount or transaction error, please contact the Mandal with the transaction reference and supporting details.

The Mandal does not guarantee that every donation will qualify for an income-tax deduction. Any tax benefit will apply only where legally available and expressly stated on an authorised receipt.

Never make payments to personal accounts, phone numbers, QR codes or payment links that are not published or officially confirmed by the Mandal.

5. Payment Services

Payments may be processed through banks, UPI applications or other third-party payment-service providers. These services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies and security procedures.

The Mandal is not responsible for delays, failed transactions, service interruptions, unauthorised transactions or technical issues caused by banks, UPI applications, internet-service providers or third-party payment systems.

6. Sponsorships and Partnerships

Submitting a sponsorship enquiry does not create a confirmed sponsorship, partnership or contractual relationship.

All sponsorship arrangements are subject to:

  • Review and approval by the authorised committee.
  • Availability of the requested sponsorship category or placement.
  • Agreement on the contribution, deliverables and duration.
  • Compliance with religious, cultural, legal and ethical standards.
  • Written confirmation from an authorised Mandal representative.

The Mandal may reject or discontinue any sponsorship that is considered inappropriate, misleading, unlawful or inconsistent with the dignity of the festival.

Sponsorship visibility, placement, acknowledgements and benefits may be modified where necessary due to permissions, safety requirements, event conditions or committee decisions.

7. Volunteer Registration

Submitting the volunteer registration form expresses your interest in volunteering. It does not guarantee selection, assignment or participation.

Selected volunteers may be required to:

  • Follow the instructions of authorised committee members.
  • Maintain discipline and respectful behaviour.
  • Follow safety, security and crowd-management procedures.
  • Protect confidential information.
  • Avoid collecting unauthorised payments or donations.
  • Avoid representing themselves as authorised spokespersons.
  • Comply with applicable laws and event rules.

The Mandal may accept, reject, suspend or remove a volunteer when considered necessary for safety, discipline, capacity or organisational reasons.

Applicants below 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or legal guardian and may be restricted from certain activities.

Volunteering is ordinarily unpaid unless a separate written arrangement states otherwise.

8. Photographs, Videos and Event Recordings

Ganeshotsav celebrations and Mandal activities may be photographed, recorded or live-streamed.

By attending public events conducted by the Mandal, you acknowledge that you may appear incidentally in photographs or recordings used for archival, devotional, informational or promotional purposes.

Requests concerning a clearly identifiable image may be submitted to the Mandal. Removal will be considered where reasonably possible, subject to archival, public-interest, legal and technical limitations.

You must not commercially reproduce, edit, manipulate or use photographs of the deity, Mandal, volunteers, devotees or events in a misleading, offensive or disrespectful manner.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the Website’s design, text, logos, graphics, photographs, videos, archives, documents and other content belong to the Mandal or are used with permission.

You may view and share publicly available Website pages for personal, devotional and non-commercial purposes, provided that:

  • The content is not materially altered.
  • Proper acknowledgement is retained.
  • The content is not presented as an official communication made by you.
  • The content is not used for misleading fundraising, advertising or commercial activity.

Written permission is required for commercial reproduction, publication, merchandise, advertising, media licensing or large-scale distribution.

10. User-Submitted Information

When submitting a volunteer, sponsorship, contact or other form, you agree to provide accurate and current information.

You must not submit:

  • False identities or contact details.
  • Unlawful, threatening or offensive content.
  • Confidential information belonging to another person.
  • Marketing messages, spam or malicious links.
  • Information that infringes another person’s rights.

The Mandal may contact you by telephone, email, WhatsApp or another communication method in relation to your enquiry, registration, donation, sponsorship request or participation.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Website’s Privacy Policy.

11. Live Darshan and Digital Content

Live darshan, videos, recordings and online broadcasts may depend on internet connectivity, equipment, platform availability, permissions and festival arrangements.

The Mandal does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuous access to live broadcasts or digital content. Broadcasts may be delayed, modified or cancelled without prior notice.

12. Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to WhatsApp, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps, payment applications and other third-party websites or services.

These external services are controlled by their respective providers. The Mandal is not responsible for their availability, content, privacy practices, security, advertising or transactions.

Accessing a third-party service is at your own discretion and subject to that service’s terms and policies.

13. Religious and Spiritual Disclaimer

References to faith, blessings, miracles, wishes or spiritual experiences represent religious beliefs, traditions and personal experiences.

The Website does not guarantee any particular spiritual, personal, medical, financial, professional or other outcome.

Information displayed on the Website should not be treated as medical, legal, financial or professional advice.

14. Event Safety and Personal Responsibility

Visitors, devotees, volunteers and participants are expected to follow official instructions, barricades, entry rules, emergency procedures and crowd-management measures.

You are responsible for your personal belongings, health requirements, travel arrangements and conduct while attending an event.

Children, elderly persons and individuals requiring assistance should be accompanied by a responsible person where appropriate.

The Mandal may restrict entry, alter routes, stop activities or introduce safety measures when required by the police, government authorities, weather conditions, crowd conditions or other circumstances.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Mandal, its committee members, representatives and volunteers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the Website.
  • Reliance on Website information.
  • Event delays, cancellations or schedule changes.
  • Third-party websites or payment services.
  • Internet, server or technical interruptions.
  • Loss of personal belongings at public events.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
